Free Writing

I am the youngest of my family and the "contumacious" child. I have always been the rebel in my family. When I was younger I would constantly get home very late in the night without letting my parents know where I was. To make things worse, I was going out with a guy much older than me. My parents disliked him and refused to let me be with him but ofcourse, I did not pay attention to what they said. I was with him for two years but ended up breaking up. Guess what? My parents were right all along. He wasn't the guy for me. Now I know I was wrong all along but I do not regret it because going through that experience taught me many things and made me who I am today.
